I'm a little behind on posts! We are now 4 months old! What a fun time. We had our 4 month check up last night and Sofia is one healthy little girl. Weighing in at 17 lbs. 2 oz. and 25.5 inches long. 90% in most categories. We had to get shots, but Sofia being the easy going baby she is, she cried for just a second and then all was done. Thank Goodness! The Doc says she's right on track and everything looks great. Our next endeavour is cereal. We've tried just a couple of times just to introduce her to it, but it didn't go over so well. Practice. Sofia is a great sleeper and sleeps 6 hours during the night. What a blessing for her and us. I think we've finally got a nice routine down that is working better for the entire family. With both Reggie and I working 8 hour days this was tough in the beginning. I'm coming more and more to realize how difficult it is to be a full time working mom. Besides missing her insanely during the day, it's just a lot of hard work. So I have a new found respect for working mothers and what they go through physically and mentally! We rock ;)Other than that all is good in our little world. Reggie and I constantly say to each other how lucky we are to have Sofia in our lives and what a great baby she is. We could not be happier. Now, if we could just get a visit in to Texas, all would be grand. We are missing Texas and so ready for our Easter visit. It can't get here fast enough.
I promise to post new pics soon.

SOFIA AT 3 MONTHS
Sofia is now 3 months old! Can you believe it. Some new things with Sofia are...one of my favorites, we finally got little miss to giggle. This was the sweetest sound in the world. I love hearing children laugh, but hearing your own child giggle for the first time was beyond amazing. So we try and get her to laugh any chance we get now. She's on the verge of rolling over to her tummy, but not quite there yet. Holding and pulling! She loves to get a hold on my hair any chance she gets and holds on to it for dear life! Sofia has found her inner scream. She really loves to sit in her nap nanny and give us about 30 minutes of screams. But it's cute of course. She loves to hear herself we think. She also now holds her hands as though she's saying please! She's also started looking around the house like she's trying to take it all in. It's fun to watch her look around in amazement learning new things. Our little miss also just got her U.S. Passport and is about to be our little world traveler, as we are headed to Ireland at the end of March. It's cute to see someoen so little with a passport. We've been a little sick battling Bronchiolitis and an ear infection. This was no fun and happy that it's finally getting better. Luckily Sofia is very easy going so taking the medicine wasn't an issue. We are so ready for this brutal winter to come to an end.

Welcome to Sofia's Blog
Hi. Welcome to our blog all about Sofia. She was born November 19th at 11:44 pm. Just one day past her expected due date. Hearing her cry for the first time took both mine and Reggie's breath away. Although we couldn't see her right away due to her being born by C-Section. You could most definitely feel her presence in the room. What joyous moment! She weighed in at 7lbs. 15oz., and was 20.5 inches long. What a perfect beauty!! It is pretty amazing having this tiny little person in our world now and unbelievable the process of bringing someone into the world. A couple of months have past now and she is 10 weeks old. She now weighs 14 lbs...nearly double her birthwieght ;) Our sweet little chunky monkey. Her cheeks are so sweet that we could just kiss them all day long. She is also now 23.5 inches long and very much as daddy's long legs. She is just 2 1/2 months old but having to wear 6 month old pants. If not they either become shorts or capris on her. Sofia is now in daycare as I had to head back to work about 2 weeks ago. I still struggle with this. Luckily her daycare is right next to my work and I get to visit her for a good hour each day at lunch. Everything is going really good and we are adjusting very well with having our angel in our world. Sofia is a very active healthy little girl. She changes each and everyday. We are so lucky to have her in our lives....more to come!!
